I'm Amy Brady, a qualified solution-focused hypnotherapist based in beautiful Cornwall. I hold a Diploma in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and am a Certified Professional Hypnotherapist (CPHT).
I came to hypnotherapy after experiencing first-hand how powerful this approach can be. My training, combined with a genuine passion for helping people, drives everything I do at Wave Wellness.
I believe everyone has the resources within them to make positive changes. My role is simply to help you access them. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, struggling with sleep, or just feel stuck — I'm here to help you find your way forward.

What is solution-focused hypnotherapy?
Solution-focused hypnotherapy combines talking therapy with guided relaxation (trance). Rather than analysing past problems, we focus on your preferred future — what you want to achieve — and use proven neuroscience-based techniques to help you get there.
Will I lose control during hypnosis?
No. Hypnosis is a natural, relaxed state — similar to daydreaming. You remain fully aware and in control throughout. You cannot be made to do anything against your will. Most clients describe trance as deeply calming and enjoyable.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on your goals. Many clients notice positive changes within 6–10 sessions. We'll discuss a recommended plan during your free initial consultation, with no pressure or commitment.
What happens in the initial consultation?
Your free consultation is a relaxed chat where we discuss what you'd like to change, I explain how hypnotherapy works and how the brain responds to it, and we decide together whether it's the right approach for you.
Do sessions take place online or in person?
Both options are available. In-person sessions are held in Cornwall, and online sessions work just as effectively via video call — so you can choose whichever suits you best.
Is hypnotherapy safe?
Yes. Solution-focused hypnotherapy is a gentle, evidence-based approach with no known side effects. It's suitable for most people, including teenagers. If you have specific health concerns, we can discuss them during your consultation.
